I was a NASA Space Flight Awareness Launch Honoree for STS-122. I didn’t get to see STS-122 actually launch, due to ECO sensor cutoff problems, but it was still a great trip.

This is one of my five most favorite photos I’ve ever taken.  Totally worth sitting on the floor at the Radio Cafe and not being able to feel my legs for a couple of hours to get all the shots that I got that night.  Great concert, too.  There’s a freely available recording if you’re interested.

I am admittedly really happy with a number of photos I’ve taken of my buddy Andrew Osenga.  This was taken in Dyersburg, Tennessee at a Caedmon’s Call concert.  Andy ripped a couple killer guitar solos at this show.  He rocked my face right off.  I like the original photo, but it’s way too big to put here, so I cropped it down.

This site is going to be about three things: who, what, and where.

This photo was my first night shooting with my new Canon EF f/1.8 85mm USM II lens. I quickly fell in love with it. I also really dug the lighting that Caedmon’s Call broke out on this tour, because it made shooting fun. I saw two shows on this tour, and I took 1200+ exposures at each one.

As soon as I can get a GPS logger, the functionality of this site will increase significantly. :)
